Foreclosure Prevention

Affordable Housing Clearinghouse in partnership with Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County (NHS OC) is offering Foreclosure Prevention Counseling and Educational workshops. If you or someone you know is having trouble making house payments or if your home is in foreclosure and you need help, please call AHC at (949) 525-4032 and ask to speak with Ana Garibo, or you can contact NHS OC at (714) 490-1250.

We developed and implemented a homeownership preservation program to assist families preserve homeownership. Our goal is to assist homeowners in keeping their homes and we will work with lenders and the customer in finding a solution to avoid a foreclosure. When this is not possible, counseling can help homeowners transition smoothly and reduce the consequences and costs that occur when losing their home through foreclosure.

Walk-In Resource Center Now Open

OCHOPC is pleased to announce the availability of its new Walk-In Housing Resource Center that is available for any homeowner needing immediate assistance. The center is staffed with a HUD Certified Housing Counselor who is available to meet one on one with clients. Please see the attached flyers for more information and feel free to send homeowners from any area to this Walk-in clinic to receive immediate counseling every Tuesday.

Hours: Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 4:30 PM
